Needle Exchange is a service provided by JADD for people who smoke or inject drugs and offers sterile needles free of charge. Users are also given advice and support regarding safer drug and injecting techniques. The focus of needle exchange is to reduce the damage caused by sharing used needles, preventing HIV, HepC, vein damage, overdose, etc.
The staff at JADD have been trained by HSE. specialists in providing this essential service in the Community.
