Help Us, Help Others

We need donations to tackle drug dependency and continue family support programmes. Your donation will help JADD achieve these goals.

Become a Volunteer

We welcome volunteers to help support our range of free services, designed to rehabilitate clients and support their families.

What We Do

We empower service users to return to a drug-free lifestyle by providing a range of free services, designed to support them and their families.

About JADD

JADD was established in 1996 in Jobstown Estate in response to the serious development of heroin use  in the community.   Families had no experience of heroin addiction and misuse problems. There was a high level of anger, fear, panic and ignorance in the community around addiction and drug misuse and the whole community was affected by the growing drug related problem.

Services were only available in Dublin City Centre and in response the local community agreed to create a support service for families with heroin addiction problems. In 1998 in conjunction with the HSE, the Tallaght Drug & Alcohol Task Force funds were provided to JADD
